This delicate flavoured grain with a neutral taste, contains all 9 essential amino acids including magnesium, iron, calcium, fiber and is regarded as a complete protein. Naturally gluten free, we recommend serving quinoa as a substitute for rice, as a salad with vegetables and dressing or as a base for soups. To prepare our quinoa, simply add 1 cup of uncooked quinoa to 1 3/4 cups of water. Bring to a boil in a medium saucepan, reduce to low heat, simmer for 15-20 minutes or until tender and the water has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork and let it cool before serving.
