About the cheese: Old Amsterdam is a Dutch gourmet cheese that is ripened to perfection and regularly checked for flavour. It is a gourmet cheese of exceptionally high and consistent quality, with a buttery mature aged Gouda flavour that cuts with ease. Just like the famous wines of distinction, Old Amsterdam is now recognized with 'Premier Grand Cru Classed' and has won numerous European Gold Medals for gourmet cheese.
In the Kitchen: Ideal on a cheese platter after dinner, served in chunks as hors d'oeuveres or shaved and added to salads.
Storage: Should be stored in the fridge, alone or with cheeses of similar type, wrapped in grease-proof paper and placed in an airtight container.
